I create transformational experiences grounded in psychology and music to help people heal and evolve.

Ever since I started out working with street kids back in 2010 I have always wanted to inject creativity and humanness into the mental health field. Mental health is so important, but it is often stigmatised and seeing a therapist kept in secret. I wanted to change all of that, and The Indigo Project was the representation of that desire.

We all struggle with our minds and emotions sometimes. Life is confusing and messy. And there are skills that we all could learn that could help us transform our lives. We can learn through music and art. We need ceremony, ritual and rite of passage. We need community. My mission is to help people transform in innovative ways.

Music & Psychology

There is no denying the power of sound; when combined with deep psychological processes you have Sonic Embodiments – cathartic, life changing experiences.

Mary Hoang and Phondupe (Richard Lucano) explore how the intersection of sound and psychology can be utilised to help people evolve. Through immersive listening sessions in the dark to full-scale productions such as Transience and Death Meditation, they have recognised the need for people to learn through experience.

Together with music psychologist Amanda Krause and The University of Melbourne, Mary and Phondupe are discovering the profound effects of deep listening and considered guidance to help unlock change and healing.
